There’s something magical about maternity sessions at the beach, and Mori Point in Pacifica is one of my all-time favorite locations for photoshoots in the Bay Area. For this session, we hiked all the way to the top—and trust me, it’s worth every step.
The trail includes a set of stairs that can be a little challenging for pregnant mamas, but once you reach the top, the views are absolutely breathtaking. From dramatic coastal cliffs to crashing waves and golden hills, it’s one of the best outdoor locations for maternity, family, or couples photography near San Francisco.
We took our time capturing portraits surrounded by blooming wildflowers, with the ocean stretching endlessly behind us. The wind added a cinematic feel to the session, making every photo feel alive and full of emotion. As the sun began to set, we made our way down to the beach, kicked off our shoes, and played in the water, soaking in every moment of that golden-hour glow.
