Cake Smash & Milestone Packages

Explore our range of cake smash and milestone photography packages designed to fit every family, style, and vision. Whether you’re dreaming of a styled, elevated setup in our cozy Castro Valley studio — complete with props, balloons, and professional lighting — or prefer a natural, outdoor session where nature becomes your backdrop, we’ll create a personalized experience that captures your little one’s big milestone beautifully.

Each session is carefully planned and tailored just for you. From choosing your theme, colors, and props to guiding you through wardrobe styling and setup design, we’ll handle every detail so you can focus on celebrating. Your gallery will include not just adorable cake smash moments, but also family portraits, solo shots of your baby, and plenty of joyful expressions that reflect their personality.

For cake smashes, we design custom themes for every session. Most setups include balloons in your chosen colors, complemented by florals, greenery, soft “clouds, ” little toys, twinkle lights, and “ONE” letters or a number 1. The main cake smash setup is styled as a larger, themed scene, and we also capture a few simpler looks using the studio’s seamless paper backgrounds, real hardwood (dark and white) floors, premium printed backdrops and handmade headbands from my collection.

Each session includes a set budget for props and balloons, but if you have a specific idea that requires larger custom props ordered for your setup, please let us know at least two weeks in advance — an additional fee may apply for some bigger custom setups.

Booking Steps:

1. Contact Us: Send us a message with your baby’s first birthday date and preferred session style (studio or outdoor).

1. Confirm Your Session: Choose the package that suits you best, and we’ll secure your session date.

1. Retainer Fee: A $100 retainer is required to reserve your spot on our calendar. This goes toward your final payment.

1. Sign the Contract: We’ll send over a contract to make everything official.

1. Session Day: Show up, relax, and enjoy the fun while we capture your baby’s big milestone!

It’s best to have your cake smash session 2-3 weeks before your baby’s first birthday if you want the photos to be ready on their birthday OR just around the baby’s birthday as a way to celebrate. Please book in advance to allow time for planning, setup design, and ordering any custom props or cakes. If your baby’s birthday is coming up soon, don’t worry — we do our best to accommodate last-minute bookings whenever possible.
